Andy Cho set two provincial records, his first was from the 800 free yesterday and tonight in the 400 free he slipped under the old time which also would be the new club record. Zoe Froh raced to the win in the 1500 fr smashing the 13-14 girls club record and the senior national time in the process. Brodie Young lead the 800 Free from start to finish and slipped under the senior national standard at the win. Chun Sing Leung finished 2nd. Andy Cho broke the 11-12 boys club record in his 800 race. Today Octavia Lau (14) was named to the SNC Youth Relay Tour. The initiative will focus on our young swimmers being ready in the 400 FRR and 800 FRR. Canada has seen success with these camps preparing the swimmers for high performance racing. All of our women's relays qualified for the Olympics this year and SNC is looking for the next group! Octavia will travel to Bermuda to train and compete with the squad. Congratulations Octavia.

Justin, Stella and Octavia raced 50 free this morning and Rolando 200 IM with Justin achieving a BT in his race. Very quick heats and small margins separating swimmers. Chris Baker time Trialed 200 IM and slashed multiple seconds from his previous best. Rolando Trialed 50 free but with not much time between his IM and the 50 it was tough racing. So we close the meet tonight watching the final night of racing and the presentation of the Olympic and Paralympic team. It should make for a memorable experience...

Mia Bottrill qualified for the B final in 200 fly in the 19th position. She raced to the same position in the finals. We have had a second swim 3 of the 4 nights so far!

Mike Cai was our swimmer today in the 200 Br and he raced to 221.57, his third fastest time overall and his best morning swim since his return to competition. He ended up as first alternate. Octavia swam the time trials in 200 free and raced to a best time 207.17 Plenty of highlights today at this meet and some unfortunate misses from some star swimmers. Lots of pressure at Olympic Trials!

Mia Bottrill races to 10th place in the A final. This was her first A final and kept her streak of having made a second swim at every national championships or Trials since she qualified for them. It was also her first experience at the ready room! Chris Baker swam to a best time in his heats of 200 fly. Day 2 had May Li in the 50 back. She led at the 15 m mark and was with the group at the halfway point to finish 2/10 off her best time. Day 3 saw the flyers hit the pool.
