Swimmer of the Month - January

Welcome to the first segment of Swimmer of the Month for 2025. We are excited to announce that we have new Swimmer of the Month caps coming in, hopefully by the end of March, and we can’t wait to hand them out to all of the well deserved winners so far this season. As well, We will have our bulletin board outside the viewing gallery updated shortly.

Olympic Way 1 - Adrian Laird

Adrian started the swim season with a strong determination to improve and hasn’t stopped since. He comes to every practice ready to work and always has a great attitude. He is committed to improve his technique and always asks great questions. We can’t wait to watch his progress throughout the rest of the season. Congratulations Adrian!

Olympic Way 2 - Lamees Othman

Lamees has been making excellent progress throughout the month of January. Lamees shows up ready to work hard for practice everyday and has done a great job in taking coaches feedback and improving her stroke. Congratulations Lamees!

Provincial - Olivia Spencer

Olivia comes to every practice ready to work hard. She has a can-do attitude to every challenge we give her. She is supportive of her teammates and encourages them to join in on the challenges. Congratulations Olivia!

Jr. National - Kayden Uys

After a light start to the season with injuries, Kayden has started the 2025 year with desire and determination. An ever present presence on deck, Kayden’s attitude, work ethic, and attendance shows through and we’re excited to see him race at his first competition of this season this weekend in Calgary. Congratulations Kayden!

National - Jace Murakami

Jace has been making strides with his technique and time all season long and with a great attendance record and positive attitude, it’s no wonder why. He recently came back from competing this past weekend in Calgary where he swam to a lifetime best every time he got on the blocks, going 6 for 6 on the weekend en route to dropping more than a second in every event. Congratulations Jace!

Take care and swim fast!
