Head U12 Coach - Ashley Riddall
| Ashley was a competitive swimmer for 12 years, reaching the Provincial and Age Group National level throughout her career. She swam with the Dorado Stars in her early years, and graduated with the Halton Hills Bluefins. Ashley took her swimming career to the next level by racing for Wilfrid Laurier University. She was the rookie of the year in her first year at Laurier, then was the team captain in her 4th year! She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology, specializing in athletic performance and injury management. She is currently taking her Masters of Manual Osteopathic Sciences in Hamilton, to become an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. Ashley is NCCP level 1 certified. She enjoys working with young athletes to develop their technical skills, and further encourage their love of swimming. She takes pride in creating a positive environment for the athletes, while improving the athletes skills to see them succeed in their goals. Ashley has a strong passion for inspiring others and she is very excited to be working with the Otters to share her knowledge of swimming, and build the next generation of athletes! |

Age Group & Masters Coach - Jordan Sedore
| Jordan started his swimming career at the Cobra swim club in Brampton at 9 years old and continued until graduating high school. He enjoyed the distance events such as the 400IM and 400, 800 and 1500m freestyle. Through the years he made many provincial times, even resulting in provincial medals! He was awarded an opportunity to go on an amazing training camp in Spain which was a fantastic experience as an athlete. Jordan coached swimmers from ages 7-14 for the Cobra Junior swim program while maintaining his training during high school. He is currently living in Orangeville and completing his undergraduate studies in history at York University. Jordan is looking forward to continuing his coaching with the Otters and sharing his knowledge and passion for the sport. |

Head Coach of Skills - Lara Gray
| NCCP Level 1 Lara started swimming competitively at the age of 10 in Montreal in the fall of 1980. She swam for Dollard des Ormeaux for 2 years where she made Eastern Junior Nationals for the first time both long and short course for long distance freestyle and backstroke. She then moved to Pointe Claire for a year where she trained as a sprint freestyler and set the Canadian record for 13-14 girls and won the long course Canadian Youth Championships in Winnipeg. She also made Senior Nationals that year both long and short course and was on the bronze medal relay team at Senior Nationals. While living in Quebec she swam numerous meets as part of the Quebec Provincial team. In 1983 she moved to Ontario and started training with the Etobicoke Swim Club. She swam there for three years, swimming at Senior Nationals in 100 free and long distance events. While swimming for Etobicoke she won several medals at Nationals for Relays. After leaving competitive swimming she swam for her high school at OFSA and won gold in the 50 and 100 free as well as setting records. Lara moved to Orangeville in 1997 and has been busy running a business and raising her four children. After a 30 year break from swimming she decided to return to the pool as a coach and is very excited to be working with the Otters in the coming season. |

Assistant Coach - Logan Tucker
| NCCP Level 1 Logan has been a dedicated member of the Orangeville Otters since she was 6 years old. Her love for competing emerged early, as she qualified for festivals, provincials, and nationals throughout her career. In her final season with the Otters, she was the first swimmer from the team to qualify for the Olympic Trials in her 200 butterfly.
Logan continued her swimming career at Laurentian University, competing at the USports level in British Columbia. She earned a degree in Health and Physical Activity with a specialization in Health Promotion, graduating with honours in 2023. Logan also completed her Concurrent Education studies, graduating with honours in 2024.
Her deep passion for the sport, combined with her background in teaching, enables her to effectively connect with and support swimmers in reaching both their individual and team goals with the Otters.
After completing her NCCP level 1 in 2023 she is ready and excited to be apart of the 2024/25 Orangeville Otters staff and work alongside other amazing coaches and swimmers. |

Assistant Coach - Emily Smyth

NCCP Level 1
Emily is currently a competitive swimmer that has been swimming with the Orangeville Otters since January 2014.
Emily started coaching with the Otters in the 2022/2023 season. She has also been a lifeguard and swim instructor with the Town of Orangeville since January 2024.
Emily loves the longer distances in swimming (400 free, 800 free, 1500 free) and hopes to continue to improve her swimming and coaching skills.

Assistant Coach - Scott Berry
| NCCP Level 1 Scott swam with the Orangeville Otters for eight years, from the age of 10 until his high school graduation at 18. During his tenure with the Otters, he excelled as a sprinter, setting a club records. Scott's passion for swimming and his desire to give back to the team that played a significant role in his formative years led him to a coaching position with the Otters, where he now serves as the Strength and Conditioning Coach. Outside of coaching, Scott competes in natural bodybuilding and cherishes spending time camping with his wife. As the Rec Coach, Scott is committed to helping swimmers develop their skills in the water and reach their full potential, both in and out of the pool.
