Competitive Program

Our Competitive program is divided into three groups. Within these groups we look to progressively introduce additional technical complexity and physiological demand. Swimmers will progress through the levels as directed by the Head Coach, and at the readiness of the athlete and their family. A brief description of our Competitive program levels is provided below.

Competitive Bronze

The COMP Bronze program is focused on refining technical skill, this is to ensure that a swimmer has the opportunity to stay healthy through the higher levels of competitive training. Swimmers in this group will be focused on well-rounded swimming, well rounded physical development, and begin to hold swimmers to a higher standard of training aptitude. We will offer five swim practices per week, along with 2 dryland sessions. Our goal is to offer competitions once per month.

In COMP Silver swimmers will begin a more rigorous training focus and begin to apply race specific training through all the different ranges that swimming races. Swimmers will be trained to race 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, and 1500 meter races. The Silver group has 6 water workouts per week, with 2 dryland sessions.
