The final Swim News Magazine's Tiny Olympic Prospects results for the 2008-2010 season are now posted.  Many  of our youngest swimmers took part and performed very well.  Swimmers times were taken from time trials done in practice back in June as well as the final mini meet of the season.  Leading the way  for the Rapids was Matthew Crawford, Kevin Ye, & Aleckxeis Aficionado!  Matthew placed 1st in the the 200 FR & 100 IM events for 7 & under boys!  Kevin was 2nd in the 200 Im & 800 FR events...

Two more world records for Canada at British Grand Prix August, 09, 2009 LEEDS England – Canada broke the world record in both the men’s and women’s 4X100 medley relays on Sunday to conclude the British Grand Prix swimming competition.  Overall this week Canadian swimmers broke four world records and set seven Commonwealth marks.   In the women’s 4X100 medley relay, Canada clocked three minutes and 49.45 seconds to break the world record of 3:51.36 set by the U.S., last year.  Swimming for Canada was Katie Murdoch of Calgary, Audrey Lacroix...

In the men’s 4X200 freestyle relay, the Canadians clocked 6:51.05 to smash the previous mark of 6:52.66 set by Australia in 2007.
