The Rapids finished a successfull BC AAA Long Course Championship meet on an exciting note Sunday night! We had a number of great swims througout the evening, here are some highlights. 13 year old girls 200 Breastsstroke Tiffany Orr, went out very strong and held on for a bronze medal with a time of 2:54.64. A new Age Group National qualifying time! In the very next race was Daniella Koretchenko in the 14 year old girls 200 Breaststroke final. During the month of June the Rapids will be selling bags of Mogiana coffee. For every bag sold the club will get $5.00 in return. This past April the AGD 1 & 2’s participated in the Swim News magazine’s Tiny Olympic Prospects program. This program encourages distance and IM swimming. The participants results then are ranked based on age. Teams from across the country take part. The next TOPS will take place in June. Congratulations to all those that participated!
