Level 2 classification for Ethan
Hi all,
On Thursday June 20th, Ethan had his level 2 classification at the Vernon Recreation Centre.
Janet Dunn, International classifier from Victoria, flew from Victoria to classify Ethan.
It started with a bench test, followed with a water test.
Ethan had to show all his skills on the bench as well as in the water.

Rule Exceptions
A Assistance Required (at the blocks, in and out of the pool)
3 Simultaneous intent to touch (breaststroke)
5 Simultaneous intent to touch (butterfly)
12 Leg drag or show intent to kick (Breaststroke). In breaststroke events (and medley legs) choose either no kick or show intent to perform a breaststroke kick that is clearly not a dolphin or flutter kick.
+ Butterfly kick is able to be performed (illegal in breaststroke)
J Eligible for Jr Provincial Standards. In jurisdictions that use the Jr Provincial Standards for eligibility at their Regional/Territorial
After the classification, Ethan got the good news from Swim BC that he was selected for BC Summer Games.
