What defines Team Travel?

1. When the team travels to/from a local area meet (90 minute drive) with no hotel stay involved. Coaches and swimmers generally ride together in a van.

2. When the team travels to/from an out-of-area meet that involves a hotel stay. Coaches and swimmers ride in a chartered bus with chaperones.

3. When the team travels to/from an out-of-area meet that involves airline travel and hotel stay. Chaperones will travel with Coaches and swimmers.

Fees:

Paseo Aquatics will calculate a rough fee for travel expenses, accomodations and food. Meet entry fees are excluded from this fee. The fee must be paid IN ADVANCE prior to departure. A NO REFUND POLICY is strictly enforced for all late cancellations.

Chaperones:

All Chaperones must be an Adult Participant registered with USA Swimming as a Non Athlete Member in good standing.  All Chaperones must also have completed the following:

Complete a USA Non Member Application

Athlete Protection Training

Background Check

MAAPP Consent and Acknowledgement Form

 

Applicable Code of Conducts & Forms Required for Travel:

PERMISSION FOR AN UNRELATED ADULT ATHLETE TO SHARE THE SAME HOTEL, SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT OR OVERNIGHT LODGING LOCATION WITH MINOR ATHLETE

PERMISSION FOR AN UNRELATED APPLICABLE ADULT TO PROVIDE LOCAL TRANSPORTATION TO MINOR ATHLETE

PERMISSION FOR AN UNRELATED APPLICABLE ADULT TO TRAVEL TO COMPETITION ALONE WITH MINOR ATHLETE
