Welcome to Accokeek Stroke Technique Swim Team 

We are a USA Swimming Club within Southern Prince George's County and Northern Charles County areas. ASTS welcomes swimmers at every level and strives to advance the sport of swimming from the most novice to the national level.

Locations: North Point High School in Waldorf, Southern Area Aquatic Recreational Center (SAARC) in Brandywine, and Prince George's Community College (PGCC) in Largo - Click Here for Location Information 

We have three sites your swimmers may attend and all competition-level swimmers have the opportunity to practice seven days a week if they choose. 

Practice Levels and Groups:

We have two distinct levels of swimmers. 

Learn to Compete -  This group is our most novice and is learning the beginning elements of the sport. This group may not compete immediately. Competition readiness is individualized and dependent on the safety and well-being of the swimmer. This group is available ONLY at SAARC and North Point. Group Description

Competition Groups - These groups include Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. These groups are expected to compete at the local swimming competitions that ASTS attends.  Group Descriptions 










 

Requirements for ALL Swim Levels / Fees 

USA Swimming Registration Fees ($98 for the 2024-2025 season) 

Please make sure to select the Premium Athlete Membership.

All New USA Swimming Registration should be done AFTER September 1, 2025.

 

Not included in the team registration. Families must register separately directly with USA Swimming. If swimmers are not actively registered, they can not practice with the team or participate in meets. 

*None of the fees discussed below include meet fees. 

 

ASTS Team Fees

FULL SEASON COST 

Payment (due at registration): $1700 (Team Fees plus Team Registration Fee)

$1530 Team Fees (9 months rate of $170 per month)

$170  Team Registration (Includes shirt, cap, and suit)

 

Half Season Cost 

2 payment option 

First Payment (due at registration): $765 plus team registration fee ($170)

Second payment: $765 due January 1st

MONTHLY COST

First Month Payment (due at registration): $340 (first month fee plus team registration fee)

Second thru Ninth Month Payment: $170 per month

DISCOUNTS - (Full Season and Half Season options will be applied on the account as a credit)

  • Sibiling - 10% off second, third, and forth child

  • Military -  $10  off monthly fees

Membership Cancellation or Pause

  •  Fees previously paid are non-refundable

  •  Notification must be received in writing to the club one month to the date of cancelation

  • If invoice due date is past then amount for that month is due

  • There will be no monthly prorate
