1) Tigershark Evaluations
In order to register for Short Course, swimmers should have completed TigerShark Evaluations and received a group placement offer from OCSC Coaching Staff.
2) 2025-26 Short Course Registration Dates
- Short Course Placement Sent to Current Swimmers: July 30th, 2025
The coaching staff will email short course placements to help families register appropriately.
- Priority Registration Opens: August 6th, 2025
Registration for OCSC swimmers that participated in the 2025 Long Course Season.
- Registration Opens: August 7th, 2025
Registration for former OCSC swimmers that did NOT participate in the 2025 Long Course Season.
- New Swimmer Registration Opens: August 8th, 2025
Registration for Tigershark Evaluation Participants who have received a group placement from Coaching Staff.
- Registration Closes: August 13th, 2025
A late fee of $50 will be applied to every registration after this date.
3) 2025-26 Short Course Season Dates
- Season Begins: Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 (Monday August, 18th, 2025 for Makos & Tiburones)
- Season Ends: Sunday, February 22nd, 2026
- Championship Season Begins: Monday, February 23rd, 2026***
- Championship Season Ends: TBD***
***Championship season is for swimmers with pre-requisite qualifying time standards or members of championship relay teams.

5) USA Swimming Registration Fee
A current USA Swimming membership is mandatory for all OCSC swimmers in order to participate in practices and meets. This membership provides insurance coverage for each athlete during all sanctioned activities.

New Swimmers: $95 (paid directly through USA Swimming; see below)

Returning Swimmers: $95 paid directly to the club at the time of registration. OCSC will renew all returning swimmers through a bulk registration.
New Swimmers Must Register
Registration for new swimmers must be completed before attending your first practice. The USA Swimming system requires registration through a club-specific link, which will be available in early September 2025.

6) Transfer Fee
If your swimmer is transferring from another USA Swimming club (not a summer-only club like Seminole, Ridgewood, Nakoma, etc.), please check the appropriate box during OCSC Registration. A $35 WI Swimming Transfer fee will be charged at the beginning of registration.
7) Concession Fee
A $5 fee per swimmer will be added to your registration to help cover the cost of concessions for our hosted meet with STAR on November 8–9, 2025.
8) Early Withdrawal Policy
A full refund is available up to 72 hours after you register your swimmer to OCSC. Should you register late, no refunds will be available once registered.
9) Late Registration Fee
Families who register late (space permitting) will be subject to a $50 Late Registration Fee. This is for any registration after August 13th, 2025, with the exception of transfers which may occur year-round.
10) Volunteer Requirements
(if your child swims with OCSC at any time during the season)
OCSC relies on volunteers to successfully run our events, and we expect each family to provide a volunteer—whether it’s a parent, relative, teen, or family friend—for our hosted events. Please mark your calendars with the important dates below. If your family does not fulfill the volunteer requirements, a fee will be added to your account as outlined:
Required Volunteer Shifts:
- 1 shift at the OCSC co-hosted “Star of the South” meet – November 8–9, 2025
Missed shift = $100 fee
- 1 shift at the Oregon Kids Triathlon – August 2026
Missed shift = $300 fee
Additional Volunteer Requirements (if applicable):
If OCSC is selected to host a Regional or State meet, families may be required to complete additional volunteer shifts and provide a concession donation.
Missed shift at a Regional or State meet = $200 fee
