Just one week left until the 2023-2024 swim season starts!! August 20th will be the first day of practices, we’re super excited to get all the kids back! We wish them the best of luck on their first day back to school
Don’t forget- all events are posted on our team app under "Events". You can RSVP YES or NO to any team event (depending what works for your schedule). All the time trials for Fall are uploaded. These are available to ALL swimmers and hope everyone can attend those. This helps with swimmer motivation during practices and gives coaches a chance to evaluate swimmers, track their progress regularly and have some fun with the team. USA/Travel swim meets are available to all BLUE and BLACK level swimmers. We have some already uploaded to the app, we will continue to add competitions as they become available to us.
Picture Day is Saturday August 26th at 11am at Greenhill School. Please RSVP if you haven’t yet. We are asking for ALL swimmers to be there so we can take a group photo, individual roster pictures, and for our older swimmers fill out season goal sheets. Please have your swimmer wear their favorite swimsuit for the picture as well as any Fast Fins apparel they might have! If they do not have any yet, no worries! We will also have a catalogue with out custom TYR apparel available for parents to place orders in-person and receive special group/bulk order pricing! Coaches will be available to answer any questions you have regarding upcoming season, training plans, using the team app, etc.! For swimmers who would like to do a fun group workout after pictures, please have them bring shoes/shorts as well as their swim gear. Pictures will be done by 11:30, group workout will be done by 12:30! There will be no other scheduled Saturday workouts for the 26th, back to normal after that!
We have a new SPIRIT ITEM available for any parents/swimmers interested. We have custom TYR Fast Fins Elite running hats available in white and black. There are limited quantities so it is first come first serve. Please send Coach Cody a quick text/email if you’d like one.
On our team app you can also confirm your swimmers training times and locations. Please check this out before next week to make sure everything looks good! If you are receiving this email, your swimmer is ACTIVE and on the team! Ending enrolment requires a 30 day notice. The swim team is currently at capacity and there are future swimmers on waitlists to join the team. Your swimmer is a part of the TOP Swim Team in DFW and we are excited to bring you a great season filled with improvements and fun!
