Weekly Updates
Good Morning!
We have a couple weekly updates for everyone -
We will be having a team night Friday February 9th. We will be going to watch a Duel Meet - SMU vs University of Texas at the SMU Natatorium. The meet starts at 5p and lasts about 1.5hrs. Great chance for swimmers to watch some fast swimming and a good learning experience. There is a Torchy’s Tacos next door we will go to after for those interested (approx 6:30pm). This will be an alternative to normal scheduled practice that evening. No 4:30 or 5:30p swim workouts on the 9th. You can sign up through the app so we have an idea of who will be attending!
The next two swim meets are North Texas Championships (Feb 17-18) and State Championships (March 1-3). These meets have qualifying time standards. If your swimmer has qualified, I have already reached out.
The next open swim meet (available to all swimmers) is March 24th. This is a time trial at Greenhill School. We will also be celebrating TWO years of Fast Fins Elite at this meet!! We will have food, prizes, awards and more! Don’t forget to sign up through the team app.
