Weekly Updates

We have a few weekly updates to share with everyone - 

This past weekend we had 16 swimmers qualify and compete in the North Texas Championships. We had multiple team records set, over 50% of swims were lifetime personal bests, and we had multiple swimmers who qualified for finals and helped score team points!  

Greenhill is still closed for renovations so we have some practice adjustments for this Saturday 2/24. If you practice at Lovers/Greenville LAfit 12:30, 1:30 or 2:30, you will move to Walnut/Skillman LAfit location and practice with the same time schedule. If you practice at Greenhill in the 10am-12pm slot, practice will move to Social Mechanics gym at 11:30am for an hour dryland workout instead. If you practice at the 12:00-1:00pm swim session at Greenhill, I will reach out to you about alternative time options for Saturday!  

Deadlines are approaching for the next Time Trial and USA Swim Meet. The time trial is open to ALL and the USA Swim Meet (Aggieland 2024) is open to BLUE and BLACK level swimmers as well as invited GREY level swimmers. Don’t miss the deadline!!

The TYR All-Star Meet in Austin,TX will be a travel team format, same way it was ran last year. The travel team will be announced in 2 weeks so families can plan accordingly if your swimmer is invited. This will be 25 swimmers based on swim results, attendance record and work ethic selected to represent Fast Fins Elite in the competition. 

Our awards banquet has been added to the calendar, you can sign up through the app. Deadline is in 2 months!
