End of Season Recap

Tomorrow morning will be our last practice of the season. We will then start our season break and resume on Monday August 25th! Our new season orientation day will be on Sunday August 24th (more details to come). 

Quick recap of some of the highlights from this season -

This year we had 17 swimmers qualify for the North Texas Championships and 5 swimmers qualify for TAGS/Texas State Champs (Emery Fleming, Madison Pisani, Pierce Dewar, Chris Porembka and Bennett Bassham). We tied our previous high for the most swimmers qualified for North Texas Champs and set a new mark for the most swimmers qualified for a TAGS level meet!

Madison Pisani and Chris Porembka also qualified for the 2025 Global Age Group Championships meet. The meet this year will be held in Virginia in December. 

Sloane Stephens was our first athlete to compete in the Special Olympics this summer and she won two golds and a bronze in her three events! 

Our clubs improvement rate across all swimmers was an 11% average over all strokes/events! The average for all USA Swim Clubs in the country this year was 6%. Our swimmers who train 4x/week and more averaged a 14% improvement rating this season across all events! 

Team nights this season were highlighted by Olympic Swimming Watch Party, Pickle Ball, Activate Virtual Gaming, Mini Golf and Trampoline Park!
