Good afternoon!
Thank you to all the swimmers and families that came out yesterday for the Time Trial! It’s a great opportunity for the swimmers to get some racing in, in a fun and low-stress environment. It also helps the coaches evaluate progress as we go through the different training phases of the season and leading in to bigger USA Swim competitions.
Our next time trial is scheduled for October 26th. It will be same place and time but ran as more of a typical meet with both individual and relay style races. This is always our biggest time trial with a fun Halloween theme. We hope everyone can participate! Please send in your RSVP through the team app/website.
This Saturday there will be NO practices at Greenhill School due to the Open Water Swim fundraiser taking place at Lake Ray Hubbard. If any swimmers who did not sign up but would like to come support and watch the event (also watch the race for future participation) they are more than welcome! Currently Fast Fins Elite is 3rd in fundraising! Please reach out for more details if interested.
If your swimmer is in either of the Saturday Greenhill practice groups - they can go to Athletic Republic (13621 Neutron Rd.) this Saturday for a makeup workout! 10&Unders will have a workout from 9-10am and 11&Overs will have a workout from 10-11am. Please make sure they are wearing appropriate dryland training clothes/shoes and bring a water bottle!
If you ordered a team swimsuit or waiting on a team t-shirt, they have been shipped and are both scheduled to arrive in the next week. We will pass them out as soon as we receive them!
