The Florida Gold Coast Board of Directors has created new Scholarship in response to the 2018 tragic school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Florida, which included one of our own - local swimmer Nicholas Dworet - as one of the victims. In keeping with Nick’s drive and determination to continue his swimming career collegiately, this scholarship is designed to encourage and support our FGC athletes who share that same drive and determination! ✓ The “FGC Soaring Eagle Scholarship” will be awarded annually by the FGC LSC...

Unfortunately, due to a lack of interest, we have decided to call of the trip to Colorado. If you have already made plans/arrangements we sincerely apologize. We are currently working on taking a team trip to Orlando June 14-16 that includes a meet at the YMCA on International Drive and a trip to one of the parks. Our Annual Awards Banquet is right around the corner! The Banquet will take place Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 11am at the Jacaranda Country Club (9200 W Broward Blvd., Plantation, FL, 33324). Lunch for swimmers will be free. Parents/Siblings and Guests will be $20. All children under 5 years old are also free. There must be an adult representative with each child. More info will be coming home with your swimmers!

The Annual PST Turkey Swim will take place Tuesday, November 20 and will start promptly at 4pm. All Junior Piranhas (3:45pm groups) are encouraged to participate. We will be separating the athletes by gender and age (5&6, 7&8, 9&10 and 11 and Over) to see who can do the most 25’s in 20 minutes. The winner in each age group gets a real, live turkey! (Just kidding… about the live part… it is real and a turkey). We will need parents to help count the 25’s.

There will be a PST Booster Club Meeting, this Wednesday, Nov. 14th at 5:30 PM on the pool deck. We will be discussing Winter Champs. We still need timers, volunteers in concession and hospitality. Please have one representative from each family. All parents of PST swimmers are members of the Booster Club!
