We will follow it up with a free brunch. This is event will be hosted by the Plantation Swim Team Booster Club and there will be not cost to you. All groups/families are invited to attend.

Our Annual Awards Banquet is right around the corner! The Banquet will take place Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 11am at the Jacaranda Country Club (9200 W Broward Blvd., Plantation, FL, 33324). Lunch for swimmers will be free. Parents/Siblings and Guests will be $20. All children under 5 years old are also free. There must be an adult representative with each child. More info will be coming home with your swimmers!

The Annual PST Turkey Swim will take place Tuesday, November 20 and will start promptly at 4pm. All Junior Piranhas (3:45pm groups) are encouraged to participate. We will be separating the athletes by gender and age (5&6, 7&8, 9&10 and 11 and Over) to see who can do the most 25’s in 20 minutes. The winner in each age group gets a real, live turkey! (Just kidding… about the live part… it is real and a turkey). We will need parents to help count the 25’s.

There will be a PST Booster Club Meeting, this Wednesday, Nov. 14th at 5:30 PM on the pool deck. We will be discussing Winter Champs. We still need timers, volunteers in concession and hospitality. Please have one representative from each family. All parents of PST swimmers are members of the Booster Club!

Congratulations to Andy Rogatinsky for finishing 2nd in the Men's 100yd Breaststroke (57.67) at the 2018 Florida 3A High School State Meet November 9 in Stuart, Florida. Andy also finished 10th in the 200IM (1:57.26).

Dave Thomas, the Southern Zone representative from USA Swimming will be visiting Plantation Friday, October 26. Dave will be giving a talk to our swimmers from 5pm-5:45pm and our parents from 5:45pm-6:30pm. He will be speaking on the pool deck. Beginning January 1, 2019 all PST swimmers MUST compete in a team suit. Practice suits do not have to be PST suits. Females must wear a one piece. Team suits do not have to be worn if the swimmer is 13 & Over at Junior Olympics, Winter Championships, Senior Championships or Sectionals.
