The JCDS Garnet swimmers took their show on the road with their first "travel meet", hosted by the St. Augustine Cyclones. Congratulations go to Jonathan Sonntag, Thejas Gudur, Parth Sharma and Aakash Bhegade. Their boys' 100-yd kickboard relay took first place. Individually, the boys competed in all events, and placed very well. Representing the girls were Sophia Quirk, who placed 2nd in the 25 breaststroke, and 25 free and Salma Shaalan, who brought home 2nd in the 25 butterfly, and 25 breaststroke. Tyler Sheffield Won the 6 and under high point for the second year in row. The AmberJax brought home the 2nd Place Trophy for the meet. Congratulations to former Episcopal swimmer Harrison Brown ’05 who has been elected to the UAA 25 year All-Time Swim Team at Emory University. The AmberJax would like to bid a fond farewell to Coach Allen as he and his family are moving out west this summer.
