7 Sharks Selected to Florida All-Stars

Seven Sarasota Sharks' age-groupers; Kara Gorzek, Sydney Hardy (10U); Angelina Lista, Maya Nowakowski (11-12); Kate Domain, Maeve Eckerman, Adian Siers (13-14);  have been selected to Florida ALL STARS to compete against the Florida Gold Coast All-Star Team Mar 26-28th.

 

 

LOCATION: Indian River State College, Ft. Pierce

SELECTION PROCEDURES: - The Florida All-Star Team will be selected from the COMBINED results of the 2021 Florida Swimming Age Groups Championships North and South. - Swimmers who finish in the Top 6 of the COMBINED results in any individual event (10&u- Timed Finals, 11-12- Finals, 13-14- Finals) are eligible for the Florida Swimming All-Star Team. - Swimmers who age up between FLAGs and the All-Star Meet are still eligible to compete, but must swim in their new age group. If an athlete turns 15 on or before March 26 they are NOT eligible for selection. - Swimmers and parents must complete the necessary application form (online) and submit payment by the Tuesday following FLAGs (March 9 th) at 12:00p. - Swimmers will be notified no later than 5:00p on Wednesday, March 10th of their selection. REQUIREMENTS: - Complete online application – submit payment for $65 to Florida Swimming - Swimmers must provide their own transportation and lodging during the All-Star Meet. (A list of suggested hotels will be provided to parents/guardians upon official selection) - Swimmers must bring their own suit and goggles to the meet. - Florida Swimming will provide each swimmer with a “Team Florida” shirt and swim cap. The application to the 2021 Florida Swimming All-Star Team will be posted on the Florida Swimming website (www.floridaswimming.org) and will be active on Thursday, March 4, 2021. **NO paper or email applications will be accepted**
