AULEA AMAZXING PERFORMANCE TODAY! Practice cancelled tomorrow

Aloha all,

Due to the severe weather, practice at all pools will be CANCELLED TOMORROW.

A huge thank you to all the Aulea Ohanas who made yesterday and today a reality for the 14-under swimmers. Despite extremely challenging conditions, our crew made it happen resulting in over 100 new championship qualifying times for the swimmers of Oahu, Maui and Big Island who attended the meet.  Up until the last event, we saw swimmers across all clubs hitting new qualifying marks in what is a last chance for many swimmers.

This was fully due in part to the Aulea swimmers, coaches, officials, timers, hospitality, concessions and general volunteer crew that made this opportunity happen.  Your efforts didn't go unnoticed! Thanks to coach Kimi for getting Jolyn swimwear in for the weekend, that was a great treat for the swimmers of all clubs!  Special thanks to Jeremy Pederson for stepping up to the plate for assistant meet director duties throughoout the weekend and was the last one on the pool deck and to Anna Verderame for securing the multi purpose room and managing the room all weekend.  Overall, it was a huge team effort with at least a half dozen swimmers and even more parents at the pool for over an hour after the meet ended making sure everything was put away and the pool deck was cleaner than when we started.

Last but not least thank you to Rebecca Leibowitz and Tia Walker who kept the computer running and times coming in throughout the weekend despite the extremely challenging weather.

We will see everyone on Tuesday.
