WAC Safe Sport Coordinator
| Robyn Vincent, [email protected] The Warrior Aquatic Club is committed to protecting athletes by following the Safe Sport reporting policies created by USA Swimming. The Club has also approved its own policies and education requirements to foster a safe and positive environment within our club. Please contact our Safe Sport Coordinator if you have questions about the Safe Sport program, or if you would like to report a Safe Sport concern. |
Reporting Information

Safe Sport Athlete and Parent Education
In an effort to prioritize athlete safety, WAC is dedicated to being a USA Swimming Safe Sport Club, which requires Club members to complete the following FREE USA Swimming Safe Sport courses:
- Parents/guardians – “Parents Guide to Misconduct in Sport”
- Athletes 13+ – “SafeSport for Youth Athletes (13-17)”
After registering for a FREE non-athlete member account and linking it to your athlete’s account, please complete the above courses, which can be found by searching for the title at https://university.usaswimming.org/landing.
Training our members in abuse prevention and mandatory reporting is just as important as creating policies. USA Swimming requires regular and consistent training for all adults who have direct contact with minor athletes. Thus, all WAC coaches, adult athletes (18+), officials, board members, and some volunteers must take the USA Swimming Safe Sport Athlete Protection Training course. Other athletes and parents are also invited to take this free training. The comprehensive, online program includes how to recognize and respond to boundary violations, myths and facts about child sexual abuse, USA Swimming’s Safe Sport Policies and Procedures, and reporting information.
