Parent Meeting

Thank you parents, for attending the parent meeting Tuesday night. It was good to connect and talk swimming.

EWU Parents there is a meeting tonight with Coach Hans at EWU at 6:15pm.

 

Junior Champs Swimmers are getting ready for a big weekend in Moses Lake!

Remember this is a Prelims/Finals Meet. The Top 8 Swimmers from the Prelims session for each age group and event return at night to race Finals for Team Points. Please do not leave until you know what place your swimmer finishes so you know if they are in Finals. There is a good chance there will be scratches so swimmers ranked in the Top 12 have a chance to make it back for finals.

All Swimmers are encouraged to attend finals.

If you’re staying the night in Moses Lake, you are encouraged to watch Finals, warm up and cheer for your teammates even if you didn’t make the Finals swims. Swimmers and parents alike learn a lot just from watching Finals. The energy at Finals is much different than at Prelims and everyone learns the expectations and speed required to make the Finals swim.

This year our theme is Star Wars. Wear your Star Wars garb and show your team spirit.   

SWAT has 41 Swimmers attending the Junior Champs this weekend.  This is the last chance for our swimmers to Qualify for the Junior Olympics March 6-8.

Swimmers, make sure you bring your SWAT Team Gear, Racing Suits, Caps, Goggles, Water Bottles, Snacks, Dry Towels and extra/backup suits, caps goggles, etc.

Warm-up Times:

  • Friday, Session 1- All Swimmers, Warmup @ 1:45pm
  • Saturday, Session 2- Prelims @ 7:45am
  • Saturday, Session 3- Finals @ 4pm (Tentative)
  • Sunday Session 4- Prelims @ 7:45am
  • Sunday Session 5- Finals @ 4pm (Tentative)
