Placement Day

Interested in joining the Dolphins Swim Team?!  Attend a placement day and you will be assessed by a Dolphins Coach and advised on what group to sign up for.  We require all new swimmers to attend placement day in order to be placed in the proper group for practice.  Those who are attending Placement Day can sign up online through the Lemont Park District WebTrac to reserve their spot, if you do not have an account online please email Meaghan Bower at [email protected]

Your swimmer will be required to swim one length (25 yards) of freestyle and one length of another competitive stroke unassisted without stopping in order to be placed on the team.  They will demonstrate their level of ability through diving, swimming, and endurance.  Those who are unable to make the requirements can sign up for Private swim lessons or Competitive swim lessons with a Dolphins Coach at the front desk of the Core.  Placement Day assessments only take 5-10 minutes per swimmer.
