Meaghan Bower Administrative Coach

Hello! My name is Meaghan Bower and I have been the lead Gold coach for the Lemont Dolphins for a year. My favorite part of the job is seeing the look on my kiddo’s faces when they touch the wall and see that their hard work in practice paid off in their races. Being part of the Dolphins team has been a very rewarding experience for me, as I’m still perfecting my coaching philosophy.
I am a recent Lewis University graduate that studied Sports and Exercise Science and Athletic Coaching. I was also part of the Women’s Swim Team and my best events are butterfly, breaststroke, and the individual medley, respectively. I am originally from Arizona was a swimmer for 16 years!
I have 7 years of coaching/ instructing experience that include being a head coach for a summer swim league and an assistant coach for a year-round swim team. My goal is to give back to the sport that made me who I am today, and by coaching I hope to do just that! The most rewarding thing to me is seeing improvement in my swimmers not only in their efforts, but in their character as well.

Shannon Boyle Masters Coach
Bethany Houda Lead Junior and Senior Coach

I’ve worked at Lemont Park District for about one year.
I am the lead Silver coach of the Dolphins swim team at Lemont. The focus of the group is to increase endurance and improve stroke technique.
My favorite part of the job is seeing how happy the kids get when they improve their times or their stokes. The best part is how much they laugh whenever I get splashed when they do dives; I honestly love every single day.
Joining the Dolphins would mean endless amount of fun and many opportunities for self-improvement. Each day gives an opportunity to be better than yesterday, and the chance to learn something new.

Colin Treanor Assistant Coach

Joining the Dolphins is a great way to make new friends and also have fun.
