Allie Kriegler is the Assistant Coach at Sage. Allie started swimming at age 8 in her town’s summer league and joined the Sage YMCA swim team at age 12. She swam and coached on the Piranhas swim team until she went to college. In college, she swam at Carroll University, where she was on the team for 4 years. Her favorite strokes are 200 IM, 100 breaststroke, and 200 breaststroke. 

 

Allie’s coaching philosophy is rooted in creating a positive, inclusive, and fun environment where swimmers of all ages and abilities can grow, improve, and enjoy the sport. Allie also believes that one of the most important aspects of coaching is building a love for the sport and that practices should be fun and engaging. 

 

When Allie is not on the pool deck, she works as an occupational therapist in one of the local school districts. In her free time, she enjoys reading, completing puzzles, and being with her family and friends. 

 

Allie holds certifications from both YMCA and USA Swimming.
