Regular practices are held Monday thru Thursday at Mockingbird Pool

 

In order to avoid overcrowding and to faciltate the best conditions for practice for all swimmers, practice sessions are divided by age and skill level. Swimmers are expected to attend three to four practices per week.

 

The schedule below is subject to change for 2025, depending on registration numbers of different age groups. The final session assignments by age groups will be determined after registration is closed. 

 

Please note that swimmers under the age of 14 are supervised by the Stonegate Seahawks coaching staff only during their scheduled training time. The team is not responsible for any swimmer at or in the pool prior to or after their scheduled training time. All swimmers aged 14 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and supervised in the pool area outside their scheduled training time. Unaccompanied swimmers must leave the pool as soon as their practice session is finished.

Note: Lanes will be divided according to age groups and skill levels. Assessment will be done on the first day of practice.

 

Mockingbird Pool

 
 
Optional practices are held Friday mornings at our Dives & Turns Clinic at Mockingbird Pool
 
We are pleased to offer our brand new Dives & Turns Clinic, every Friday morning during the season starting this week (except July 4th) at Mockingbird Pool. This is an extra, optional practice for swimmers who wish to hone their dives and turns. Though these clinics may be more beneficial to intermediate swimmers and above, there is no minimum skill required, and beginners are welcome. Cost: $5 cash per swimmer per 40-minute slot to be paid at the clinic, to defray the cost of our coaching staff.
 
Each clinic will be divided into three 40-minute slots:
  • Slot 1: 9:00-9:40am
  • Slot 2: 9:40-10:20am
  • Slot 3: 10:20-11:00am
For each clinic, we will have 3 lanes open, with a maximum of 6 swimmers in each lane, for a total of 18 swimmers.
 
We will open sign-ups during the week leading to that Friday's clinic. To sign up, go to Team Calendar --> 2025 Team Events (click on job signup button) --> Dives & Turns Clinic. Please sign up for a maximum of 1 slot per swimmer per clinic. However, if after Thursday 9pm, there are slots still open, you may sign up your swimmer for additional slots. Please write in your swimmer's name where the "Optional Contact Info" prompt appears.
