When to Sign Up for Volunteer Jobs
Mark your calendars! New to this season, all volunteer jobs will be available for sign-up beginning Saturday, May 10, 2025. Jobs will be released according to this schedule:
Saturday, May 10 @ 9:00pm: Champs + Pentathlon + Meet 5
Sunday, May 11 @ 9:00pm: Meet 4 + Meet 3 + Meet 2
Monday, May 12 @ 9:00pm: Meet 1 + Time Trials + Team Events
Jobs for a specific meet will close two (2) weeks prior to that meet, and changes cannot be made thereafter without the approval of a Volunteer Coordinator. We understand that some families will not have a full picture of their summer schedule and may be uncertain whether they can commit to a job later in the season. Therefore, we plan to credit DOUBLE the number of volunteer points for jobs done at Champs and Pentathlon.
When signing-up, we ask that families select only jobs and dates that they have a good faith belief they can fulfill. For fairness, families should not sign up for more jobs than is required to meet their volunteer requirements (i.e., 1-swimmer family = 15 volunteer points, 2+ swimmer families = 20 volunteer points). Families who sign up for too many jobs will have their jobs cancelled or adjusted by the Volunteer Coordinators.
How to Sign Up for a Volunteer Job
Parents can sign up for the volunteer jobs through the SportsEngine website. Instructions are shown below. When signing up for a job, please ensure to include the following details:
- Name of the Person Doing the Job: This helps us identify who is responsible for each task and ensures accountability.
- Name of the Swimmer in the Family: We use this information to track job points accurately.
- Phone Number of the Person Doing the Job: In case of any last-minute changes or emergencies, having a contact number enables us to reach out promptly.
Select the Team Calendar Tab and click on Job Signup for the event at which you would like to volunteer. Or, you can go to your account navigation menu and select Events & Competition > Team Events and follow the steps below.
