This restructure is setup for productive learning, growth, and inclusion for several years, and will feel very similar for most of our current athletes. It’s our intent to streamline on-boarding to the team and add a few metrics to give each group proper identity. Our goals in this process are listed below. Over 20 swimmers from each training group competed last weekend in the annual Nu Wave Summer LC Open in Biloxi last weekend. The meet was highlighted by several new events swum and a few new state qualifying times. This time of year is usually spent preparing for adding to their championship lineups or perfecting events one will swim at their championship meet. Sharks finish 14th in Senior State Championships 7 Elmwood Sharks senior athletes and families traveled to Sulphur, LA, Feb 9-12, for the semi-annual LA Senior State Championships. The team was led by veterans Lexie Rodrigue (18), competing in her 7th senior state meet, and Chrisitan Lang (16) making his second appearance.
