USA Swimming Outreach membership:

Utah Swimming offers a USA Swimming Outreach Membership for athletes that meet the criteria listed below. The cost is $7 a year. If your swimmer qualifies for one of the following programs, they are eligible for the outreach membership.

  • Federal Food Stamp Program (SNAP)
  • Free or reduced lunch
  • Medicaid
  • CHIP
  • 125% of Federal Poverty Guideline

In order for a swmmer to qualify for an Outreach membership they need to provide the team administrator or DEI Chair ith the supporting documents.  Once approved they may then register as an Outreach Athlete.

Utah Swimming Meet Fee Reimbursement program:

Once your swimmer is registered as an Outreach athlete they are eligible for the Utah Swimming meet fee reimbursement program. This program allows your swimmer to have their meet fees reimbursed for two (2) meets during short course season and two (2) meets during long course. All of their championship meet fees will also be waived by Utah Swimming.

Team administrator will fill out the meet fee reimbursement google form.

Utah Swimming will send a check to the team once eligibility has been verified by the DEI Chair.
