Red Cross Classes at BLUE
Check here for current openings for Red Cross classes throughout the year. All certifications are valid for 2 years except for Babysitting which is valid for 10 years.

Lifeguarding (Full Certification) ages 15+
$370/person, certification valid for 2 years; CPR Mask included in price
*Must be able to pass swim skills test: Swim 150 yards on stomach without stopping, tread 2 mins without using hands, swim another 50 yards; be able to swim 20 yards, surface dive at least 7 feet to retrieve a 10lb brick and return to wall in 1 min 40 seconds.
Lifeguarding (Recertification) ages 15+
$185/person, certification valid for 2 years; CPR masks are $10 additional

Babysitting ages 11-16
$105/person, certification valid for 10 years
Babysitting with first aid, CPR, AED ages 11-16
$175/person, babysitting certification valid for 10 years, first aid/CPR/AED certification valid for 2 years
*Participants should be at least 85-90 pounds to be able to complete CPR
First aid, CPR, AED
$125/person, certification valid for 2 years
Classes may be offered in person or as a blended learning class with online work before the inperson class starts.
All blended learning classes must have online portion completed before the start of the class per Red Cross.
Red Cross Refund Policy
- 100% if 15 days or more before 1st day of class
- 90% if 8-14 days before 1st day of class
- 75% if 3-7 days before 1st day of class
- 50% if 1-2 days before 1st day of class
- No refund if canceled 1st day of class or after class has started
