The early season Fall Invitationals continue with a fun trip to Allentown, PA where CVAC swimmers posted some impressive times. Among them were 5 new Team Records set by Addison Buckman (15-18 Girls 100 Butterfly, 54.70), Ava Buhrman (13-14 Girls 200 Backstroke, 2:00.39 and 200 Breaststroke 2:19.86) and AJ Dolimpio (13-14 Boys 200 Free, 1:47.32 and 200 Butterfly 1:59.88) CVAC finished 2nd overall (out of 11 Teams) in Points behind host, Parkland Swim Club. Next meet on the schedule is our own CVAC AquaFest in November.
Eagle Squad travels to Fairfax, VA for an early Season September Invitational at George Mason University to compete with 15 other Washington DC area Teams. CVAC finishes the Meet with the highest average Swimcloud Points. CVAC 576, PAVA Panthers 528, Nations Capital Swim Club 502, Riptide Swim Club 405, Capitol Sea Devils 364. In the process, 2 new Team Records were set: Ava Buhrman (13-14 Girls 200 Breaststroke) and AJ Dolimpio (13-14 Boys 200 Butterfly).
Such a competitive Teams race at the 2025 Summer Mid Cap Championship chasing Hershey Aquatic Club all the way to the Fly events before making a big push in the Free Relays. Proud of this Summer Squad for improving and rising to meet challenges at every step. Big shouts to coaches Teresa, Eric, Molly and Ken for bringing home the Title for the second straight Summer.
A fun and successful 2025 Summer Capital Area Swim League Meet Season comes to a close. CVAC finishes 5-0 with competition from Hampden, Dover, Bobcat, Dallastown and Carlisle. So proud of the progress, improvement and culture our swimming community continues to embrace.

CVAC finishes 5th in Overall Points at Middle Atlantic 10&Under Champs at Hershey. So proud of the fun and enthusiasm that these swimmers combine with their hard work and effort. Squad of Nadine Laws, Brooke Boland, Josy Ruiz and Ava Buhrman broke the CPAL All-Star 13-14 Girls 200 Free Relay Record with a time of 1:40.29. Their splits of 25.92, 25.73, 24.90 and 23.74 respectively combined to overtake the 1:41.96 time posted by Lebanon YMCA in 1998 - 27 years ago.
For the 7th consecutive Season, CVAC finished the Dual Meet Season undefeated with wins versus Palmyra, Lebanon Valley, Ephrata, Central Aquatics of PA, and Elizabethtown. The team will wrap up the League Season this weekend with Divisional and All-Star Championship Meets before looking to the Middle Atlantic Championship Series in March.
