7 year old Ryder Getz had a hat trick against Palmyra. He swam best times in all 3 individual events. Besting his 25 Free by 1.1 sec, 50 Free by 4.2 secs and 25 Back by 2.1 secs. Jennifer Bolden completed a Goal Sheet in August with Mid-Season Freestyle Goals of 27.5, 57.9, 2:04 and 5:40 and Year-End Goals of 26.7, 56.7, 2:02.1 and 5:23. After a good start to the season, she blazed lifetime bests of 26.2 (-0.6 seconds), 56.5 (-0.6 seconds), 2:00.4 (-7.1 seconds) and 5:28.3 (dropping 33.2 seconds) at the Mid-Winter Classic USA Meet in January. There were many impressive swims at this year’s Snowflake Splash Invitational. But 2 swimmers in particular caught the eye of the coaches. With personal best times in every event they swam Eli Groh and Nadine Laws have been named 2019 Snowflake Splash Swimmers of the Meet. Eli was on fire all day posting bests in 50 Fr (-2.5), 25 Fly (-3.2), 100 IM (-5.3), 25 Br (-0.3) and 25 Fr (-1.9). 2 years ago Ryan Lee joined the team after moving to PA from Korea. He's moved through our program and is now training with an Advanced Red Practice Group. On December 22 we travelled 45 minutes to Annville, PA on a cold early wintery morning to swim the Lebanon Valley Otters. Vacations, trips and holiday events had left us without many on our roster. With a crew of only 78 swimmers, the prospect of remaining undefeated was a big challenge. Quinn Butt is 8 years old. He started competitive swimming just 2 months ago and has been working really hard in practice. He swam his very first race at our Dual Meet against Elizabethtown Aquatic Club. It didn't take him long to catch on. He clocked a 19.8 in 25 Free...and then broke 45 seconds in the 50. Owen has been practicing with the Eagle Training Group since late August and has stepped up his workload over past 4 months. His dedication is starting to show a lot of results. At the NLAC Winter Splash USA Meet at Penn State, Owen shaved almost 8 seconds off his 200 Free time and had personal bests in all 6 events swum.
