Safe Sport Overview

USA Swimming's Safe Sport program focuses on creating a secure environment for athlete and non-athlete members that is free from abuse of any kind, including sexual abuse, bullying, and inappropriate communications.

USA Swimming provides comprehensive information and resources for clubs, coaches, athletes, members, and parents on the dedicated Safe Sport section if its website. Visit the USA Swimming website to learn more.

All members are required to be aware of and discharge their Safe Sport obligations under federal law, the SafeSport Code, and USA Swimming, Inc. and its affiliates' rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

If you have questions, please contact Dr. Melissa Millerick-May ([email protected]) or USA Swimming's Safe Sport department ([email protected]). You may also contact USA Swimming's Safe Sport team anonymously via RealResponse by sending a text message to +1.888.270.SWIM (7946). Standard messaging and data rates apply.

If you need to make a report to the US Center for SafeSport, click here. Do not delay in reporting any abuse or misconduct - even if you only have reasonable suspicion of abuse or misconduct - inflicted on or by someone in the U.S. Olympic or Paralympic Movement.
