Winona Swim Club Scholarship

Award:

A one-time $250 award payable one year after recipient notification and satisfaction of requirements detailed herein.

 

Who is Eligible:

Any Winona Swim Club senior who is planning to continue swimming or who will be continuing work in a swimming environment such as a swim coach, swimming lessons provider, or lifeguard, while attending an accredited 2 year or 4 year college or university.

Process:

Write an essay about your future goals that involve swimming and how you plan to accomplish them. Include how this scholarship will help reach your goals. Mention how swimming has impacted your life thus far, and what valuable lessons being a swimmer has taught you.

 

Award requirements:

  • Must attend a higher education institution full time the year following high school graduation.

  • Must complete one semester or two quarters with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

  • Payment will be made upon satisfaction of the preceding criteria.
