Summer 2025 PreTeam

Back by popular demand, Farmingdale Aquatics, a USA Swimming certified competitive swimming team, will be offering new swimmers the opportunity to participate in our Summer Pre-Team in our brand new Aquatic Center!  This team will serve as an environment to ready children who may not already be strong swimmers, for competitive swimming.  Throughout the course of our Summer Pre-Team, new swimmers will focus on stroke technique and the ability to become comfortable in the water. 

The goal of this team is to help young children discover the lifetime benefits of becoming an accomplished and confident swimmer.  Your child will also make friends, feel like they are a part of a team, and most importantly always be safe in and around the water.  Swimming is the one sport that lasts a lifetime! 

***Tryouts are Saturday June 14th 2025!!! 9:30am-11:30am****

 

COACHING STAFF:

All coaches are certified under USA Swimming guidelines and have over 50 years of combined coaching and swimming experience from learning how to swim, to competitive swimming at the National & collegiate level.

REQUIREMENTS:

New swimmers must be able to stand in 3 ft 6 inches of water, and swim roughly 15 yards freestyle. Bathing suits and goggles are required.

DATE/TIME:

Summer Pre-Team will run 2 group sessions (A&B groups) 2x a week.

Group A will meet Mondays and
Wednesdays from 5:30PM – 6:30PM beginning 6/30/25 & ending 7/30/25.

Group B will meet
Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30PM – 7:30PM beginning 6/30/25 & ending 7/30/25.

COST:

$250.00 for 10 sessions. Cash or check accepted. This means only $25.00 per session, and MUCH cheaper than private swimming lessons. Swim caps will be given out at sign up.

 

REGISTRATION:

Tryouts will be held at Farmingdale Aquatic Center at Howitt on Saturday June 14th 2025 from 9:30am-11:30am.

Please bring your child wearing their swimsuit, and goggles if possible, ready to tryout!!  

If you cannot make this tryout date, please contact us for an appointment at a later date.
