- Farmingdale Aquatics is a competitive swimming program that falls under the umbrella of USA Swimming-the organization that runs the competitions for our Olympic teams. We do have a Preteam program, geared for the age 5 and older swimmer, provided they can stand in 3'6" of water and can swim freestyle across a 25 yard pool.
- Farmingdale Aquatics (FA) is primarily a self-sustaining organization with membership in the Farmingdale Youth Council, Metropolitan Swimming and United States Swimming Organizations. We operate under our own set of by-laws, as well as, under the rules and regulations of each aforementioned organizations. Swimming is a year round training sport with vacations and rest periods built in. While combining exercise, skills and competitive challenges, FA is a rewarding program for your child to join and for you to give your support.
- We participate in United States Swim sanctioned meets at various locations in the Long Island and Metropolitan areas. The purpose of the club is to develop a competitive swimming environment that builds confidence and team spirit.
Our coaches are certified under USA Swimming guidelines and have over 50 years of combined coaching and swimming experience from learning how to swim, to competitive swimming at the collegiate level.
