I asked both of my mentor coaches how cold water has to be for them to cancel practice and they told me 76 degrees and 74 degrees Fahrenheit, respectively. Therefore, similar to yesterday, we will have the baskeball court at Genesis from...

Hello Swim Families! I have received an update from Genesis on the state of the pool heater: it is still broken and the water temperature has dropped to 74 degrees Fahrenheit. That is a bit chilly, but not too cold to swim, therefore, practice will proceed as normal today, Monday, October 28th. We still do not know when the heater will be fixed, so the temperature could fall further as the week goes on. We will keep you updated on the situation. Please let me know if you have any...
Hello Swim Families! Due to an unfortunate mechanical malfunction with the pool at Genesis, there will be NO PRACTICE tomorrow morning, Saturday, October 26th. We apologize for the inconvenience and short-notice. Friday the temperature in the pool was falling as the heater had stopped regulating earlier in the day. As we expect overnight temperatures close to freezing and percipitously falling water temperature, it is in the best interest of the athletes that the Marlins take off Saturday, October 26th. For reference, World Aquatics, the World Governing Body for swimming, recommends...
