Welcome to Nebraska Aquatics! We are the longest running non-profit 501(c)(3) swim club in Lincoln, Nebraska, and in 2020 celebrated 55 years of swimming excellence! Our swimmers range in age from 6 to adults who have chosen swimming as a lifelong sport.
Our Mission Statement: The primary purpose of Nebraska Aquatics (NA) is to educate, instruct, and train individuals on the art of swimming in a positive, yet challenging environment. By doing so, each swimmer will grow in confidence, responsibility, goal setting and personal relationships.
Our Club Objectives:
- To develop individual skills in swimming.
- To provide a positive environment for each individual.
- To develop each member’s full potential individually and as a teammate.
- To develop good sportsmanship.
- To advance in competitive swimming to achieve one’s personal and team goals.
- To learn the power of discipline, camaraderie, and positive criticism.
Our coaches pledge to help swimmers of all ages and abilities grow in the objectives of our mission. Nebraska Aquatics offers various program services to fit your needs; however, programs will be structured based on demand and schedules may be changed.
Your attendance contributes to your development. The more time you spend in the water, the stronger you will become. The more time you spend with the coaches, the more you will learn. As you set goals, they should be realistic and based on how much you will be practicing. Set goals for improvements in skill, speed, distance, and attendance; set goals for all strokes. All members are encouraged to participate in swim meets to help confirm the purpose of practice and to inspire hard work to become better swimmers.
Nebraska Aquatics has a tradition of fun activities outside the pool. Our swimming family works hard to build morale and to support the team. Everyone is asked to help with fund-raising projects, and we hope everyone will participate in the team’s special activities. NA wants you and your children to have fun making friends and supporting the team!
