USA Swimming Safe Sport program is a comprehensive abuse prevention program. It is a multi-layered approach to keep kids safe. Including providing guidelines, screening, background checks, employment screeninig, training, and mandatory reporting. Safe Sport Training and Education:
- Safe Sport for Minor Athletes 12-17 years of age
- Once an athlete turns 18, they must complete the Athlete Protection Training (APT) program. The program is available via your USA swimming online account. It can be completed up to 60 days before turning 18.

Supplement Connect High Risk List: Supplement Check | U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA)
The Global Drug Reference Online Global Dro (Global DRO) provides athletes and support personnel with information about the prohibited status of specific medications based on the current World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List.
If an athlete has a legitimate medical need to use a substance or method that is prohibited, the athlete can apply for a TUE, and where appropriate, be provided an exemption to use that method or substance under medical guidance. More information on when and how to apply for a TUE is provided on USADA's website.
