Whitecaps Summer Swim Team

The Whitecaps is a summer swim club for novice and experienced swimmers ages 5-18. The team is part of the Greenville Area Summer Swim League.

Our Instructors:

• All Whitecaps instructors are USA Swimming certified coaches with full multi-layered background checks
• Instructors were/are national-level swimmers who understand the sport of swimming

What We Teach:

• Fundamentals of swimming for ALL FOUR strokes.
• Racing strategies in a fun, low-pressure environment
• Instructors follow drill guidelines established and practiced by the East Carolina Aquatics – The Gators!

  • Start - June 2nd
  • End -  Saturday August, 2nd
• General Practice Schedule:
  • June 9th - July 27th: Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday - 10:00-10:45 AM
  • June 2nd - June 5th: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday:  4:00 - 4:45 PM
  • Times may change slightly based on the number of swimmers on the team.
• Competitions: 1 competition per week in the Greenville Area, held on Tuesday nights, plus end-of-season championship meet.
• Fee Structure:
  • Whitecaps Summer Team Special - $150
    • $50 Sibiling Discount!
• Fees Include: Team Cap, GASSL Registration Fees, Training, Meets​​, Awards, and family membership to the pool!
• Additional Fees:
  • ​​The league utilizes Swimmingly for swim meet. Each swimmer will need to register for swimmingly. The fee is $18 per swimmer.
• Team Suits: Not Required

New Swimmers

Swimmers need to be able to show that they can swim 25 yards continuously unassisted.  Swimmers will need a suit and goggles.

All meets are on Tuesdays with warmups starting at 5pm.  (some hosts may have later start time)

Championships is Saturday usually 7/8am to 2pm
