A Brief Timeline
In just over two decades, the EDGE Swim Club has accomplished quite a lot! It's always good to look back on where it all started.
- In 1999, Vermont Area Swim Team (VAST), was reconfigured to be owned by the EDGE and renamed the EDGE Swim Club. The EDGE became members of the Champlain Valley Swim League (CVSL) and Vermont Swim Association (VSA).
- In 1999, won the Most Improved team award for the CVSL
- In 2001, became a member of USA Swimming
- In 2009, began its first Summer Long Course USA Swimming program
- In 2010, won the Most Improved team award for the CVSL
- In 2010, first Speedo Sectionals Championship qualifier
- In 2013, won the Most Improved team award for the CVSL and first undefeated season
- In 2014, reached 100 swimmers for the first time
- In 2014, won first ever CVSL Championship and VSA State Championship
- In 2017, first qualifier for the Speedo Futures championship meet
- In 2017, first qualifier for the Junior Nationals championship meet
- In 2023, the EDGE hired Nicola Anderson as its new Director/Head Coach
Summer Swim League History
- The EDGE Swim Club Summer Team has a 41-1 record since 2013, and has had undefeated seasons in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018
- The EDGE Swim Club Summer Team has won five consecutive CVSL Championship Meets (2014-2018)
- The EDGE Swim Club Summer Team has won five consecutive VSA Championship Meets (2014-2018)
