Summer Team: Week 1 In Review

The EDGE Summer Team kicked off week one of summer fun in style this week! Swimmers got to know one another, played some fun games in the Field House, talked about sportsmanship and how to be a good teammate, learned new drills in the water, and best of all, LEARNED OUR TEAM CHEERS! Here's a look into Week 1:

AT-A-GLANCE:

• Monday, we got to know each other in the Field House. We also got used to swimming in the pool.
• Tuesday, we discussed swimming etiquette and how to be a good teammate.
• Wednesday, we discussed sportsmanship and how we can have fun at swim meets!
• Thursday, we learned some awesome cheers that we'll do at swim meets.
• Friday, many of our awesome EDGE swimmers graduated high school, middle school, and elementary school! We congratulate all our hard-working students.

SPORTSMANSHIP SWIMMERS OF THE WEEK

• Beginning next week, we will recognize two swimmers per week for outstanding cheering, support of their teammates, and displaying excellent sportsmanship!
