USA SWIMMING
USA Swimming is the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming in the United States. They are a 400,000-member service organization that promotes the culture of swimming by creating opportunities for swimmers and coaches of all backgrounds to participate and advance in the sport through teams, events and education.
Their membership is comprised of swimmers from the age group level to the Olympic Team, as well as coaches and volunteers. Members can get involved through more than 2,800 teams across the nation. USA Swimming is also responsible for selecting and training teams for international competition including the Olympic Games, and strives to serve the sport through its core objectives including: Build the base, promote the sport, achieve competitive success.

NEW ENGLAND SWIMMING
New England Swimming, Inc., is an Eastern Zone swimming committee (LSC) of USA Swimming. New England Swimming is a non-profit amateur sports organization that involves approximately 9,800 athletes and nearly 103 teams in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

CHAMPLAIN VALLEY SWIM LEAGUE
The Champlain Valley Swim League (CVSL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that the EDGE Swim Club's summer team is a member of. It strives to promote the sport of swimming in Vermont and provide a structure that teams in the CVSL can follow for competitions and recreational purposes.

VERMONT SWIM ASSOCIATION
The Vermont Swim Association is the governing body of summer competitive swimming in Vermont. The objective of the Vermont Swim Association is to promote and further the sport of swimming in the state of Vermont in all aspects. They host the state championship held during the first weekend of August every year.
