Meet Entries: Suggested Events
As a team, we encourage all swimmers to attempt their Championship Events at least once per year. We understand that newer swimmers may need a different approach, so we've provided suggestions below. If you'd like a coach to select events for your swimmer, simply commit to the meet and include any requested events in the notes section.
For our Home and IntraSquad meets, Bronze, Silver, and Gold Group Coaches may suggest or even require specific events. This will be communicated in the event signup or via email before the meet.
All meet registrations are completed on the Team Events Page.
Group-Specific Event Guidelines:
Bronze Group
- Suggested Events: All events 50 yards and under.
- Coach Consultation: Swimmers should consult with their coach before signing up for 100-yard events or longer.
Silver Group
- Suggested Events: All events 100 yards and under.
- Coach Consultation: Swimmers should consult with their coach before signing up for 200-yard events or longer.
Gold Group
- Suggested Events: All Championship Events for their age group.
- Coach Consultation: Swimmers should consult with their coach before signing up for events 400 yards or longer.
- Coach Guidance: Coaches may also provide suggested or required events for specific meets outside of Championship Meets.
Junior Group
- Suggested Events: All Championship Events for their age group.
- Coach Review: The Junior coach will review all entries and may adjust them to ensure swimmers attempt all Championship Events at least once throughout the year.
- Special Requests: If you have any highly requested events, please add them to the notes when registering or discuss them directly with the Junior coach.
Senior Group
- Suggested Events: All Championship Events for their age group.
- Coach Review: The Senior coach will review all entries and may adjust them to ensure swimmers attempt all Championship Events at least once throughout the year.
- Special Requests: If you have any highly requested events, please add them to the notes when registering or discuss them directly with the Senior coach.
