GSCY Storm showcased amazing swims throughout the 2024 YMCA LC Nationals, which was held from July 30th to August 3rd at Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training in Ocala, FL. With a total of 1173.5 combined points, GSCY Storm won 2nd place in the overall Combined Team category. With a total score of 647.5 points, the GSCY Storm women also dominated the field, bringing home the national title for the Women's category. Following a semi-final where he set a US Open Record in 47.08, GSCY Storm alum Jack Alexy finished in second place in the final of the 100 Free, punching his ticket to the Paris Olympics. GSCY alum Matt Fallon electrified Lucas Oil Stadium as he won the 200 Breaststroke event at the US Olympic Trials, setting an American Record and U.S. Open Record of 2:06.54 in the process. The previous American Record of 2:07.17, set in 2016, was previously held by Josh Prenot. Matt's time is the fastest in the World so far this year, and it also ranks him 5th fastest all time. We are thrilled to announce that our very own Head Coach Mary Korey has been named as one of the head coaches for the US National Team competing at the 2024 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, set to take place August 21-24 in Canberra, Australia.
