GSCY Storm swimmers showcased impressive swims at the NJ YMCA State Championships, winning the state championship title and sweeping the 13/O Men's, Women's and Combined Categories. With this year's state title, GSCY Storm is now the NJ YMCA State Champions for three years in a row! USA Swimming has announced its 2023-2024 National Junior Team Roster, and our very own Anna Moesch has been selected to join the team! Anna qualified in the 100 Free and 50 Free. Congratulations to our very own Anna Moesch for representing Team USA at the 2023 World Aquatics Jr. Swimming Championships in Netanya, Israel! Anna won an individual bronze medal in the 100 Free, and was part of the silver-medal winning 4x100 Mixed Free Relay and 4x100 Women's Free Relay squads. GSCY Storm is proud to share that Riqui Iturbe-Cosano and Tori Castro were recently selected to participate in USA Swimming’s Annual National Diversity Select Camp. Both attended the camp at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Riqui and Tori were two of 52 swimmers from around the country selected to participate. The purpose of the camp is to instill a vision of success and inspire athletes from ethnically under-represented populations to become leaders in the sport of swimming.
