We wish all of our Stingray families a very happy and healthy holiday season. Enjoy this special time with your families—we are excited to carry this momentum into the second half of the season!

Looking ahead, please be sure to carefully review meet sign-up notices and deadlines. The second half of the season includes a full and exciting meet schedule, and staying informed will ensure every swimmer has the opportunity to compete and showcase the hard work they put in at practice. The full meet schedule is now posted through the first week of April, and meet packets will be posted on the website for sign-ups as we receive them from host teams.

Candy Cane Fun Intrasquad Meet
Saturday, December 27th

We’re excited to host our first-ever Candy Cane Fun Intrasquad Meet, a cheerful and low-pressure event designed especially for our Little Stingrays and Junior 1 groups. This fun-filled morning will include light racing, festive relays, and plenty of opportunities for our youngest athletes to shine.

We are inviting swimmers from the upper levels of our YMCA Swim Lessons program to join us and get a taste of what being a Stingray is all about—teamwork, confidence, skill building, and a supportive community. Introducing these swimmers to the team environment is a wonderful way to help bridge their transition from lessons to competitive swimming.

This event is not only a celebration of our current athletes, but also an important opportunity to promote the Stingrays swim team. By bringing together our developing swimmers and their families, we can showcase the positive impact our program has on youth—both in and out of the pool.

We kindly ask our Stingrays parents to help welcome swim lesson families, share your experiences, and highlight the skills, growth, and friendships your children have gained through the program. Your perspective makes a meaningful difference as families consider taking the next step into competitive swimming.

We look forward to a festive morning of fun, encouragement, and team pride!
