Binary Athleticism Track
We have two tracks to accomodate swimmers with two distinct sets of goals:
- Performance Track
- Fitness Track
Our Performance Track is designed to guide our athletes through our leveled-group progression designed to help athletes matriculate and earn a scholarship to a swimming college. There are specialized outcomes, rewards, and requirements on this Track.
Our Fitness Track keeps Lobos active without the pressure to race and perform at the level of a highly-skilled swimmer. This is also the Track for swimmers who may prefer a different sport but choose to swim a limited number of times per week for its profound health, physicality, and psychological benefits.
Athletes navigate both Tracks through the same Leveled Training Groups by coaches with differentiated expectations.
Leveled Training Groups
We have groups for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to challenge each individual, while guiding them toward superior form, all while fostering a safe environment that helps them continue to love the water. These are what we call our leveled groups (more info in the links from the dropdown menu above):
- Pre-team
- Pups
- Red
- Black
- Senior B
- Senior A
- Performance+
To be appropriately placed, swimmers must by tested by a coach, which are availble most days at the beginning of practice. Let us know you're coming by for a tryout by clicking here.
