Red Swim Group
This group knows all four strokes, though their form still needs significant improvement. They are continuing to build strength and endurance. Though they may get tired and need longer rests, they are able to do some long swims. This group is where swimmers must choose whether they are going to follow the Performance Track or the Fitness Track. For Fitness Track swimmers, it is great for multi-sport athletes where swimming is not their primary sport because they are under less pressure to perform than in the Black group. For these swimmers, once they turn 13, they must move into Senior group B. For Performance Track swimmers, once they can consistently make 100 yds in under 1:30 off the wall, they will move up to Black group.
