TERMINATION AGREEMENT

In the event that a swimmer wishes to end his or her relationship with the Dallas Mustangs, it is the responsibility of the swimmer to submit the Mustang Termination Request before charges can be stopped.  You will receive a copy of your request.  You may continue receiving Mustang emails through the end of the month before your termination is processed by our system.

This form must be received by the 15th of the month prior to charges cancelling. For example, if you wish to leave the team in January, you must render notification by December 15th. Merely telling your coach that you wish to leave the team will not stop your charges. It is also the swimmer's responsibility to pay in full any outstanding charges before leaving the team. If outstanding charges are not paid within 30 days, a fine of $100 will be assessed.

If you wish to return to the Dallas Mustangs later in the same season, you must pay a $100 reinstatement fee before being allowed to begin practicing with the team.  If you wish to return to the Dallas Mustangs in a later season, you will be registering as a new swimmer and subject to the new swimmer registration fee and potential waitlist.   Please see Dallas Mustangs - HOW TO REJOIN for information on how to Rejoin the team after a termination.

Monthly Swim Fees and Annual Registration Fees are non-refundable.

PAUSING MEMBERSHIPS: We are not able to pause memberships.  You will need to follow the termination notification process outlined above. When you are ready to rejoin in the same season, a $100 reinstatement fee will be assessed.  If you return in a future season you will be registering as a new swimmer and subject to new swimmer registraiton fee and potential waitlist.  Please see Dallas Mustangs - HOW TO REJOIN for information on how to Rejoin the team after a termination.  In the event of a Medical Leave of Absence, the reinstatement fee will not be due. Proof of medical leave of absence may be required in this case.

VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT

Dallas Mustangs Minimum Volunteering Requirements
Applies to meets hosted by the Dallas Mustangs only

Minimum-volunteering requirement

  • If your swimmer participates in the DM meet, volunteer two shifts
  • Even if your swimmer does not participate in any DM hosted meet, the requirement is a minimum of 2 shifts at DM meets.
  • If you do not sign up to volunteer, your credit card will be charged $200 and you may be assigned a position at the next meet.

2 Shifts Per Meet:

The requirement is 2 shifts per meet per family, not a requirement per swimmer.

  • If you have multiple swimmers participating in a Mustang hosted meet, the requirement is still 2 shifts (not 2 shifts per swimmer).
  • If your family has 2 volunteers at 1 particular session, you have fulfilled the requirement

For details and more information regarding Volunteering, please reference this document.

SWIM MEET FEES

Swim meet fees are charged based on the meet commitment you provide and events selected by you/approved by the coaches prior to the registration entry deadline.  We are not able to refund these fees if your child is not able to attend the meet for any reason after the registration deadline.

SWIMMER SUPERVISION

We request that you do not drop off your swimmers more than 10 minutes before the start of practice and pick them up promptly at the scheduled practice end time.  Swimmers waiting for their practice time should be sitting quietly on the benches and/or bleachers on deck.  Coaches are unable to supervise swimmers who are not on the deck.

We understand that some families have multiple children in different practice groups.  In these cases, we ask that siblings are supervised by family members when they are in the facility outside of their scheduled practice times.
