Senior Group - this Week:
- Monday: No Workouts
- Wed & Fri AM's: All Sr Swimmers 5:45-7:30
- Tues, Wed & Thurs PM:
- Sr 4: 3:50-5:20
- Sr 2/3: 5:20-6:45
- Regular Friday: 4:30-6:00
- Saturday AM: 7:30 - 9:30; Holiday Party following workout
Finals Week: This week is finals week for many of our high school students. Stay consistent and on track with workouts and remember exercise offers a great mental break and is good for stress relief - Keeps the mind sharp!
Junior Group:
- Monday: No Workouts
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 6:45-8:00
- Friday: 6:00-7:15
- No dryland this week
- Saturday: 8:15-9:45; Holiday Party following workout
Dryland Note: dryland is canceled if it is raining.
Upcoming Team Hosted January Senior Meet: This meet will open on fastswims, tomorrow night at 8:00 PM. Open to 13&up swimmers that have met the minimum Sr Open qualifying time. Bonus Events: We petitioned the Paciific Senior Commitee to allow up to 2 bonus events for any swimmer with at least 1 qualifying time. Bonus events for events 200 yards or less. Bonus events do not need to meet the qualifying standard but you must have a verifiable time in any bonus event - NT not allow).
SPEEDO WINTER JUNIOR NATIONALS: Congratulations to our Winter Junior National Qualifiers: Stella Canoles, Chloe Cooper, Elise Gratton, Claire Meissner, Siena Santos, Bella Smith & Lily Yung who competed the 2025 Speedo Winter Juniors Meet in Austin, Texas.

MEET SCHEDULE & ENTRY INFORMATION: Team policy is that swimmers stick to the approved team meet schedule and only enter meets listed for their swim group. Updated 2025-26 Meet/Event Schedule....
MEET ENTRY NOTE: Before entering ANY meet, be sure the meet is on our TEAM meet schedule and be sure your swim group is supposed to enter. DO NOT enter meets blindly (it impacts our team & official requirements when swimmers enter meets and then do not attend). Before entering ANY meet, check the team meet schedule FIRST and be sure the meet is listed on our meet schedule for your swim group.
FIRST MEETS OF 2026 (The first two meets of the 2026 Season that the team will be attending):
Open on Fastswims: Senior Open Meet, Jan. 24&25, Soda Center. All 13&up Qualified swimmers. Must have at least one Senior Open Qualifying time. Bonus Events: 2 bonus events allowed (we petitioned the Senior Committee to get 2 bonus events for any swimmer that has at least 1 qualifying time)
Junior Group: Zone 2 Winter Championships Meet, Jan 31-Feb. 1, Chabot College, Hayward. Only the Junior group will be attending this meet.
GENERAL MEET ENTRY INFORMATION:
- Swimmers are responsible for meet entry and entry fees
- Meet Entry is online - thru the online platform - FASTSWIMS
- New Swimmers - you can enter meets (even before registering with USA swimming - must be registered before the meet)
- You should enter 3-4 events each day
- Try new events - if not sure, ask your coach
- You must enter an entry time. Estimating Times for 1st-Time Events...
- Meets tend to fill up fast and close well before the entry deadline. Be ready to enter when the meet opens
- It is recommended that you create a free FASTSWIMS account
- Parents must fill a team assigned timing shift at meets that your swimmer is entered
- If you are interested in becoming an official (Stroke n Turn). No experience required - just a willingness to volunteer!

SWIMSTRONG DRYLAND (SSDL):
- Fast & Slow Carbs... MBreakdown of fast & slow carbs, and when to eat each one so your athlete can be ready to train and race.
- Streamline Overhead Mobility Series... Movements & muscles that contribute to maintaining a great streamline position!
- Signs You Are Eating Enough... Underfueling is a common issues swimmers can run into. Outlines indicators are eating enough!

Team Apparel/Equipment: Order apparel/team gear or equipment online at Conejo SwimWorks Team Store....
MISC:
USA Swimming Registration: All swimmers must have current USA registration.
- 18-years-old or soon to be 18-years-old athletes:
- Once you turn 18, you must create own SWMM's membership account.
- You are required by USA swimming to take the Athletic Protection Training (APT) course. The course is free and can be access online in your SWMM's account under the Education Tab.
